Helloooooooo,
so like remember that time when I said that I would post once every week? Yeah, that didn't happen, and I apologize for that. However, I will say, that if you read my previous post on procrastination, you shouldn't really be that surprised. I'm writing because it dawned upon me that I had made a quasi-promise, and according to great men like James Bond, Jules Verne, and Indiana Jones, a great man ain't great if he doesn't keep his word. (quick disclaimer: I haven't actually thought of a topic for this post yet, I'm just hopelessly filling out space with words while I search my (über cheesy alert) heart for a topic.) (holy shitballs, did I just put a parentheses within a parentheses? I'm not even sure if that's legal #breakinrulesoftheenglishlanguage.) So yeah a topic. I think I've got something.
Today I got to act. It's not the first time, I've acted a bunch of times before ("hell, I played Dr. Martin Luther King jr. in 7th grade!" he said with pride) For some reason though, today it meant a lot more to me. My good friend Preben/Laura had written a so-called play, and when ze time came for ze epic monologue, I froze up and herpderped ( to my older readers (if I have any of those) that means that I went blank for a moment) and that made me seriously reconsider what the hell I was doing. The second time came by, and it actually went pretty reasonably well. It made me think that maybe I can do this acting hullaballoo (btw, the brit that invented that word deserve ALL THE MEDALS). But yeah, my point here is that all this acting business might be something I keep doing for fun, and maybe, if my ego gets really inflated, I might even post some of it of the youtubez, but I doubt that so don't hold your proverbial breath.
The music of the day is a song by my favorite South African composer, Hugh Masekela, who has had a huge influence on how I play, and incidentally how I feel about my African roots and such, which might be the topic for next time, we shall see. Until then, stay safe, watch out the bats cause this is Bat Country, and don't take any guff from these damn swine. Enjoy ze life dear friends!

dammit i forgot
In an attempt to create some kind of congruence within posts, I endeavor to, from now on, link some music to each and every post of mine, since that's one of the few things I feel I can express an opinion about each and every day. Having said that, my link for the last post is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFjMeOnqAPI . This is Gary Clark Jr. Gary Clark Jr is epic. I'm going to see Gary Clark Jr live in a month. That makes me very happy. For those of you who live in Copenhagen, the tickets for the concert at still available, and remarkably cheap, so if you want to experience an epic concert with ze present company, I suggest you do so.
Procrastination, to do it or not to do it
Hello hello blogosphere (look at me using clever blogger slang hehehoho).
I choose now to write solely because I have to hide from the biggest written assignment of the year for a little bit, since the very thought of writing even another word about Hamlet and how he's a total wackjob makes me want to smack little children. ( hide yo kids, hide yo wife haha) Incidentally enough, this very desperate ploy to avoid actual work leads me rather elegantly into todays topic: ze procrastination. Yes my dear friends, I've descended to writing about banal topics like procrastination, and there's nothing you can do to stop me muahahaha. See I like to see myself as a master procrastinator (although that is a bit of a misquote because I truly hate it, like seriously wtf??) Being a master procrastinator is hard work though. It demands perfect sync between the body and the mind, where the mind has to be able to communicate to the body swiftly and effectively that we're not getting jackshit done today (pardon the profanity, but then again not really, cause seriously, get over yourself). This lightning fast signalsending is a skill that takes many months to hone, but we are a select few that are simply born with the ability, and it is our job to proliferate, to proselytize (holy god man, look at how beautiful that word is, I just want to walk around saying it all day), to preach our remarkable ways to the people. My point with all this is that I have absolutely no point at all, and just needed to escape the written assignment for as long as possible, in an attempt to somehow let my ideas about the project sit and marinate in my inner brain folds before I reenter the fearsome arena of war and terror and bloodshed that is Windows Word 2013, and the many hundreds of letters that I've typed so far, and more importantly, the many thousands I have yet to type. Until next time my dear friend, my co-traveller of the internets, my compadre in all things wwwrelated, the Chewie to my Han, the Penn to my Teller, the nutella to my bread product, I wish you good day, and good luck.
